Andrea Houston previously served as Executive Assistant to MPP Cheri DiNovo, the Ontario NDP’s first LGBTQ Critic. In this role she aided in the passage of laws and the crafting of public policies which protect LGBTQ people, such as the ban on conversion therapy (“Toby’s Law”) and legal protections for queer parents.
